Good afternoon!
Many of us have received an email with the subject "Mailbox Maintenance." It is a phishing/malware email.
Some tips to avoid phishing scams:
1. Be skeptical of any email that asks you to click on a link to manage an account or requests you to enter your username or password. When in doubt, type the company's web address (not the link in the email) directly into your web browser to log in.
2. Check the "from" address. Many phishing scams use someone's compromised account to send emails. This one came from theglobalfund. org. More sophisticated attacks might use misspelled names of legit companies like "microssoft" or "amezon."
As always if you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us. Thank you for all you do!
