Monday, May 7 marks the start of Pansy Patch Week and we are excited for what's in store!! The week is dedicated to celebrating the Theta relationships that have been honored through Pansy Patch as well as encouraging donations in order to unlock our Power Pansy Challenges.

POWER PANSY CHALLENGES
#3: We are just 12 "pansy planters" away from reaching 1,000 donors and unlocking Power Pansy Challenge #3
#4: When we reach a specific giving milestone (to be announced Monday!), the most Pansy Patch Scholarships of the year will be revealed!! This is a big one, and every gift helps!

PANSY PATCH SCHOLARSHIPS
Chapter standings aren't just about the friendly competition! Members from the leading chapters in the Chapter Standings at the conclusion of Grand Convention will be eligible to apply for Pansy Patch Scholarships in 2019. These are $2,000 one-time, merit-based scholarships and will help a Theta pursue her educational goals.

The number of scholarships available is a surprise, so all the more reason to move your chapters to the top of the list! You can do this by selecting your chapter or a chapter you want to support in the "Affiliate Chapter" field when you purchase your pansies.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

• Tell your friends why you send pansies! Include #PansyPatch and tag Theta Foundation so we can share your testimonials. Be on the lookout for some special Theta relationships as we highlight donors who've given this spring!
• Reach out to your honorees. Pansy Patch is all about "planting" it forward! For every pansy you've sent this spring, we hope those Thetas are paying it forward and honoring others. You can check in with those you've honored to see if they have made their pansy purchases. If not, now is the time!
• Think about Convention attendees. Want to ensure a Theta who’s attending Grand Convention has a pansy sticker for her nametag? Visit Theta’s Grand Convention website to see who’s attending and send her a pansy!
• Phone a friend. Sometimes, a phone call is the way to connect with others and let them know their support is appreciated. Consider calling a friend to ask her to send pansies!

We will provide more updates as the week continues. Please know that pansies must be purchased by Saturday, May 12 to guarantee your honorees’ names are included in the Grand Convention Pansy Patch display in Orlando!
