Earlier this week, NPC announced a special collaboration with NIC and the families of hazing victims Tim Piazza, Max Gruver, and Marquise Braham in forming an Anti-Hazing Coalition. The coalition will focus on education and prevention, legislation and accountability, and transparency. 

Staff of NPC and NIC have been working to secure national morning show and print media opportunities to discuss the coalition’s goal to end hazing. A segment for the Today Show will pre-tape on Sunday and air on Monday at 7:30 am; Good Morning America is considering a live segment on Monday; CBS This Morning declined the opportunity; CNN and Fox are considering. A moderated press conference for national print media is scheduled for Monday at noon; an op-ed piece has been pitched to USA Today, and a first-break news story has been pitched to The New York Times. If declined, it will be offered to The Washington Post.
