2017-2018 Educational Leadership Consultants (ELCs)
Congratulations to the 18 leading women selected to serve the Fraternity as ELCs in 2017-2018! (* Denotes returning ELC)
Please direct any questions concerning the ELC Program to Christa Samaha, assistant director of chapter services.
Licensed Vendors and Solicitation Emails
It has been brought to our attention that some volunteers have been receiving email solicitations from Theta’s licensed vendors. Because non-members (parents of members or university administrators, for example) may need to contact some volunteers, their email addresses are on Theta’s website. We cannot prevent our licensed vendors from using these publicly accessible email addresses.
However, we can enforce that vendors include an opt-out link in all solicitations. If you are receiving multiple solicitations, please look for an opt-out link to stop receiving further messages.
Also, if you are trying to find a specific vendor or item, please visit FindGreek for licensed vendors. If you have more questions about Theta merchandise or vendors, contact Kristi Tucker, assistant director of alumnae engagement.
Social Media Snapshot
Emerging Leaders Institute (ELI) Application Snapchat Takeover: Today, Alicia Cauthen, Beta Mu/Nevada, will take over Theta’s Snapchat to share how the experience of attending ELI changed her life and encourage those who are interested to apply. Follow along on Snapchat: kappaalphatheta.
ELC Announcement: This week, we will share a fun graphic announcing the 2017-2018 ELC team! Be sure to look for it on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. And, if your chapter is now represented by an ELC, share the announcement to show your Theta pride.
Sexual Assault Awareness Month: Look for an educational post on Friday about this, and please share to spread awareness of this important initiative.
