Are you confused as to who does what at headquarters? The Workforce Communication Guide has been updated to reflect changes in staff and volunteer roles. Remember that this guide is for workforce only, and should not be shared with advisors, college chapter officers, alumnae chapter officers, or facility corporation board members.
Due to all that has been going on in the world lately, the dates for both the nomination form and interest indicator form have been extended. If you are interested in board service or know someone who would be a good candidate, the nomination form is now due on April 20 and interest indicator on May 1. As a reminder, the nomination form is not required in order to submit an interest indicator. If you have any questions, contact boardservice@kappaalphatheta.org.
Did you know that April is NPC Advisor Appreciation Month? Chief external affairs officers (CEAOs) and alumnae relations directors received an email on April 2 letting them know about the occasion, which was also highlighted in the March Bulletin, and providing them contactless and cost-effective ways to show appreciation. If you know or work with an advisor, for Theta or another NPC group, reach out to them to let them know how grateful you are for what they do!
We’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the Emerging Leaders Institute in July. Applicants will be notified this week and we are working on virtual alternatives for them. Even though we can’t host our in-person event this year, we are confident it will be back again in the future. Please direct questions to Assistant Director of Collegiate Services Madison Cannon.
Each year, the Fraternity sends volunteer charms to workforce-level officers celebrating a milestone. These charms are for accumulative years of service, in any workforce-level position. Typically, these are sent in April, to coincide with Volunteer Appreciation Week. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, these charms will be mailed after April. However, we would like to recognize these members, and they are listed below. Thank you for all you do for Kappa Alpha Theta!
