Grand Council Action
At its meeting Friday, Grand Council:
- Approved Epsilon Lambda/Dickinson’s move to FHC;
- Considered an officer appointment;
- Considered a membership reinstatement; and
- Considered two membership terminations.
Workforce Updates
College Committee Chairman Laura Locke is pleased to announce that Grand Council has appointed Samantha Keil, Eta Iota/San Diego, as college district director (CDD) in College District XV.
Join Recruitment Committee Chairman Kara Van Duzee and committee members in welcoming Alyssa Franco, Gamma Iota/Kentucky, as recruitment and Panhellenic district director (RPDD) in College District VI! She will work with the following chapters.

Madison Nash, RPDD in College District IX, is resigning from her position Madison will remain in office until the end of the spring semester. If you are interested in this role, please submit the Volunteer Interest Indicator. Questions about the role and responsibilities can be forwarded to Kara Van Duzee or Ansley Howze. The deadline for interest indicator submissions is April 26.
Kappa Alpha Theta Is Hiring
Theta is hiring a graphic designer and qualifications for the position have been posted. Please encourage any qualified candidates you know to apply!
Denim Day: April 24
On Wednesday, April 24, we empower you to once again wear denim or jeans for Denim Day! This is a world-wide campaign to support sexual assault survivors and raise awareness about destructive attitudes toward sexual assault. We have encouraged collegians to participate via social media, and we encourage you to participate as well! Peace Over Violence developed the Denim Day campaign in response to a ruling by the Italian Supreme Court in which a rape conviction was overturned because the justices felt that because the victim was wearing tight jeans, she must have helped her rapist remove them, thereby implying consent. The following day, the women in the Italian Parliament came to work wearing jeans in solidarity with the victim.
Holiday Closing
The Fraternity, Theta Foundation, and Fraternity Housing Corporation (FHC) offices will be closed Friday, April 19 in recognition of Good Friday.
