New Website for Booking Theta Travel
Please note that NuTravel is being sunsetted effective May 1. The new site for booking travel is https://certifytravel.com. Your current credentials will provide access and the site is identical to NuTravel. Any questions should be directed to Chief Administration Officer Mindy Marshall.
Workforce Updates
The following risk prevention specialists have stepped away from their roles effective immediately: Paige Robinson in College District VIII, Anisha Amin in College District IX, and Elyse Toplin in College District XI. If you are interested in the risk prevention specialist role or know of someone who may be a good fit, please submit or encourage them to submit the Workforce Volunteer Interest Indicator, found under Forms on Theta Portal’s home page.
ThetaConnect and Jobs
Graduating seniors are now preparing to look or are already looking for jobs, and college students are seeking internships. Are there opportunities at your company? Post any openings on ThetaConnect’s Job Board!
ThetaConnect Growth
ThetaConnect, our members-only app, grew by 770 members over the last quarter. More than 12,000 members (new members, collegians, and alumnae) have joined ThetaConnect. Specifically, in Quarter 3:
- 770 members joined during this time, with 295 in January;
- 94% of all users have returned to ThetaConnect after their initial registration (a slight increase from 89% during Q3 2023);
- 360 jobs were posted (a slight increase from 273 during Q2 2024); and
- 21,836 total feed views (3,28 times greater the amount of feed views than during Q2 2024)!
