Workforce Monthly Educational Programming

Government Relations
The government relations committee is seeking potential candidates, both collegians and alumnae, for our annual Congressional visits. In order to “reduce barriers to participate and allow more students the opportunity to better understand the work of the government relations committee, this year’s upcoming visit will be in virtual format April 13-15, 2021. Please send Government Relations Committee member Kristin Anderson Warner any names, chapter affiliations, and email addresses of women who are chapter chief executive officers (CEOs), Panhellenic Council presidents, student government leaders, or anyone who may have interned in a Congressional office (Senate or House) today, Tuesday, Dec. 8, if you think they may be interested in this opportunity to advocate on behalf of the fraternal experience. More information is available in the Jobs area in ThetaConnect.

Workforce Opportunities
- Cheryl Phillips, college district director (CDD) in College District VIII, is resigning from her position. If you are interested in this role, or you know of someone who would be a good fit, please submit/encourage them to submit the Workforce Volunteer Interest Indicator in Theta Portal under Forms. Questions about the role and responsibilities can be forwarded to College Committee Chairman Mandy Womack or Director of Collegiate Services Katharine Murphy. The CDD roles in College Districts IV and XI remain open.
- Beth Dickinson, alumnae district director (ADD) in Alumnae District IV (Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee) and Leah Logan, ADD in Alumnae District XI (Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma) are resigning from their positions. They have both agreed to stay on until replacements are found. If you are interested in this role, or you know of someone who would be a good fit, please submit/encourage them to submit the Workforce Volunteer Interest Indicator in Theta Portal under Forms. Questions about the role and responsibilities can be forwarded to Alumnae Committee Chairman Laura Bright or Director of Alumnae Engagement Liz Drake.
