Bloomberg covered the most recent developments in the Harvard case. The university moved to dismiss the lawsuits made against them, filing motions that asserted the school’s policy does not discriminate against male or female students, does not discipline students, and is measured and lawful. The Harvard Crimson also covered the developments in the case.
Covered in Forbes, The New York Times, USA Today, and The Daily Wire (among others) three female Yale University students sued the school and nine of its all-male fraternities on Tuesday, seeking to force the fraternities to admit women into their social clubs. The women argue that the single-sex social organizations increase the prevalence of sexual assault, harassment, and discrimination on campus.
Our initial member engagement and satisfaction survey was conducted in 2016 as a result of Aspiration 1, “Optimize the member experience,” from the Plan of Aspirations. That year, the survey was sent to all collegians and alumnae members with a good email address. The survey provided invaluable data that has helped us prioritize and guide our programming for the past three years.
With the introduction of the undergraduate longitudinal assessment in 2017, there is no need for collegians to also complete this survey. The 2019 member engagement and satisfaction survey will be sent to all alumnae with a good email address. The survey will launch this week and will run for the next few weeks. Please complete the survey and encourage those you work with to do so as well. Those who complete the survey will be entered into a drawing for a $250 Amazon gift card. If you have questions, contact Chief Operating Officer Jenni Schmaltz.
