Social Media Snapshot
Thanks for helping spread #ThetaLove on Founders Day!
Thetas all over North America paused their busy lives to celebrate Founders Day during the last few weeks, and we appreciate your support in joining the digital celebration! Below are some remarkable analytics illustrating the incredible social media reach of our 2017 Founders Day content.
2017 is Theta’s Year of Scholarship
As we continue to count down to Theta's sesquicentennial in 2020, each year we are celebrating one of our founders and the core values she inspired. This year, we recognize Alice Allen Brant and Theta's commitment to intellectual ambition in the Year of Scholarship.
February is also the Month of the Scholar, established by the National Panhellenic Conference to promote academic achievement and reward academic excellence among all NPC member groups. Theta Foundation and FHC will join in the scholarship celebration, too! We hope you will follow along as we celebrate Alice Allen Brant and all Thetas who are dedicated to learning, growing, and being a part of something larger than ourselves.
We appreciate your support in sharing blogs, social media posts, and any other digital content related to Thetas’ intellectual ambition in action! Use #Theta150 when sharing posts to social media.
Eating Disorder Awareness During the Month of February
Both the U.S. and Canada observe eating disorder awareness weeks during the month of February. Please follow our social media channels for content, including stories from members who have recovered from this illness. If you know a member who may need support in this area, don’t hesitate to refer her to www.sisterssupportingsisters.org for information and resources.
Workforce Communication Guide
Are you wondering who to email with a Theta question? The Workforce Communication Guide has the answer. It is a handy three-page resource available ONLY to the workforce, so please don't share it with non-workforce volunteers. It lists programming areas and who to contact with any questions you may have. You can find it in Igloo > Files > Resources > New Officer/Volunteer Resources. The folder also contains other useful volunteer resources. If you can’t remember where to find something in Igloo, Igloo’s search feature can help. Type in what you are looking for in the Search everywhere field (with a magnifying glass) in the top black bar of the Igloo home page.
New Alumnae Chapter
The Sacramento Valley Alumnae Circle has been granted chapter status by Grand Council. Congratulations to our newest alumnae chapter, the Sacramento Alumnae Chapter!
