Happy Birthday ThetaConnect

ThetaConnect is turning three this month. To celebrate, leave a “Happy Birthday” message on the main feed!

 In June, as a thank you for being a part of platform, ThetaConnect held a giveaway! To be included in the giveaway, users must have joined ThetaConnect by June 30. By June 30, we had more than 9,900 participants in the giveaway. The winners of the giveaway were chosen by a random generator:

• Aniella Fignon, Gamma Zeta/Connecticut
• Jill Segal, Delta Zeta/Emory
• Jenna Miller, Gamma Epsilon/Western

In the month of June, ThetaConnect grew!

• More than 320 new users joined, making ThetaConnect less than 75 users away from 10,000 users
• 94% of users are returning users
• More than 7,800 page views, almost double the amount of page views than last June

Emerging Leaders Institute 2023

Emerging Leaders Institute (ELI) 2023 was a monumental success! Fifty-three members representing 42 college chapters engaged in impactful personal development from Thursday, July 13, to Sunday, July 16, in College Park, MD. The participants benefitted from no-cost lodging thanks to a partnership with the Fraternity Housing Corporation (FHC) and Gamma Mu Chapter, and low-cost participation thanks to the generous support of Theta Foundation.

Theta Foundation Q1 Chapter & Individual Grants Application Deadline

Theta Foundation offers the opportunity to individual Thetas as well as college and alumnae chapters to apply for grant funding to support non-degree educational, leadership development, and service-learning endeavors that promote the widest influence for good. The application deadline for programs occurring this fall (on or after Sept. 1, 2023) is tomorrow, Wednesday, July 19 at 3:00 p.m. EDT. Please visit our website to learn more!

2023 Kappa Alpha Theta Program Director of the Year

Kim Colby Davis was recognized as 2023 Kappa Alpha Theta Program Director of the Year.
