Theta Foundation
After four years in the role of Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation executive director, Kristen Kaiser will leave the organization in June. She has resigned to leave the workforce and spend time with her young family.
Foundation President Mary Ellen Fitzsimonds wished Kristen the very best for the future and thanked her for her many contributions to Kappa Alpha Theta. “While we understand and support Kristen’s decision, we can’t help but feel sad about her departure. Kristen was tasked with leading the Foundation during a critical period in its history, ensuring that the Give to Lead, Give to Learn Campaign was a success. Her dedication has made the success of many initiatives possible, including our Board’s adoption of a governance model to strengthen Theta Foundation's recruitment, board nomination, and election process; launching and leading successful Day of Giving events, growing assets to $34.5 million; furthering the synergistic model of One Theta; leading a successful merger with the Housing Trust; and growing the Theta/CASA relationship. She has led a dedicated Foundation team, each of whom plays an integral role in the organization’s day-to-day operations and success, and who will carry us forward in the weeks and months ahead.”
To ensure a smooth transition, Kristen will remain with the Foundation through the end of June. The Board of Trustees is working closely with Theta Foundation staff to manage the transition. The search for a new executive director will be launched shortly. Any questions should be directed to Mary Ellen Fitzsimonds.
