Office Holiday Closing
Kappa Alpha Theta headquarters will be closed Friday, May 26, through Monday, May 29, for Memorial Day.
35 Under 35 Award
The award recipients for 35 Under 35 have been selected! Those chosen will be notified by email on May 31. The Fraternity will make an official announcement this summer.
2017 Theta Foundation Scholarship Award Acceptance
Just a reminder that all recipients preliminarily selected for a 2017 Theta Foundation scholarship must complete the acceptance process by 11:59 p.m. EDT, Wednesday, May 31. Recipients who do not submit required documentation by the deadline will forfeit their awards. Alternate recipients selected for forfeited scholarships will be notified on June 1, via the email address on their Fraternity records. Please direct any questions to Theta Foundation’s Programs Coordinator Mary Kate Kronzer.

Mental Health Awareness Month: Look for two Instagram posts this week on the important topic of mental health in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month. The first is about why viewers may want to think more critically about the new Netflix series 13 Reasons Why, which deals with the topic of teen suicide. The second post addresses the “Sunday Blues,” a common experience of feeling sad, anxious, or stressed on Sundays ahead of the coming week.
FHC Chapter Instagram Takeover: Yesterday featured the first chapter Instagram takeover of @kappaalphathetahousing! Eta Theta/Central Florida provided photos and captions of daily life at their facility. Look for more of these features in the future!
