During Mentoring Week (Oct. 23–27), ThetaConnect had
- 87 new users,
- 1,760 total page views (20% more than the previous week), and
- More than 100 page views on the Mentoring tab.

The application for the ThetaConnect Promoter Program is live. The ThetaConnect Promoter Program mobilizes ThetaConnect users who share a passion for the Theta community and who are willing to help. Those who are selected for the ThetaConnect Promoter Program will be asked to assist in the growth of ThetaConnect by inviting new users, posting engaging messages, facilitating a group, posting jobs, and posting on social media. The application will close on Friday, Dec. 1, and the program will begin at the beginning of January. If you are interested in learning more about the program, how you can use ThetaConnect for member programming, or would like to join, please contact Digital Marketing Coordinator Madi Leger.
Volunteer Recognition
- The DEI committee congratulates our chair, Lisa Delacruz Combs. Lisa successfully defended her dissertation on Friday, Nov. 3, to earn her PhD! Please join us in congratulating Dr. Lisa Delacruz Combs on this well-earned accomplishment!
- Lindsay Sell, director of extension and member of the DEI committee, has been honored by the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors (AFA). She is the recipient of the Sue Kraft Fussell Distinguished Service Award. Named in honor of former executive director and long-time AFA advocate Sue Kraft Fussell, this award recognizes individuals who have exhibited outstanding achievements in one or more of the following areas: service to AFA, programming and/or service which reaches beyond the recipient's campus/organization, development and research activities, and/or service to the college and fraternity/sorority communities.
