This is the new title of the section previously titled News from the Industry. The information has always been delivered from the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) and we feel this title better reflects that. Unfortunately, there is no current news from the NPC to report. Theta-specific news articles are always available on the bottom right of the Igloo home page, under Greek News.
Laurie Connor, director of government relations, and Kristin Anderson, government relations committee member, are looking for potential candidates for our April 2019 Congressional visits in Washington, DC. Please forward any names and email addresses of women who are chapter CEOs, Panhellenic council presidents, student government leaders, or anyone who may have interned in a US Congressional office (Senate or House) to Laurie or Kristin by Nov. 2, 2018.
To help alumnae circles feel more engaged with Theta, we’re initiating a section of The Bulletin especially for them. The Bulletin (alumnae circle section) will be emailed to the circle contact on record once each semester; the first edition will be sent later this month.
Day of Service is this Friday (Oct. 19), but Thetas have already been celebrating Bettie Locke’s birthday with service events throughout this month and have plans to continue into November. Please post photos of your event to social media using #ThetaService. Be sure to enter the Day of Service Photo Contest! Upload your high-resolution photos to our Dropbox account using this link. If you have any questions, contact Digital Media Manager Lauren Palmer.
