Staff is hard at work preparing for the switch from our current database and Officer Portal (OP) to ChapterSpot this January. Convention attendees were given a sneak peek of the new technology platform and alumnae chapter presidents and chief executive officers (CEOs) were reminded of the switch in the August issues of The Bulletin. In the October issues, all college and alumnae chapter officers will be alerted to the new sites with details forthcoming in the next few weeks. Relevant officers will then be sent specific messages from staff and workforce partners (including some of you) with timelines, to-dos, and training opportunities. The workforce partners who will be sending messages will be notified of what to do and provided with templates. Keep reading The Update for more information about this exciting conversion!
A reminder that if you work with an exceptional volunteer, we are always accepting nominations for our High Five Friday social media feature. If you have specific examples of what the volunteer has done, please also share those, as we’re hoping to let nominees know who nominated them and why. (If they are just generally awesome, that’s a fantastic reason, and I’m sure they’d love to hear that!) Send all nominations to Assistant Director of Alumnae Engagement Laura Stelsel. We send you a HUGE thank-you for all that you do!
