The Atlanta Journal Constitution, among other outlets, offers coverage of the now deceased University of Georgia employee accused of stealing $1.3 million from fraternal organizations on campus. The implicated employee died by suicide in June, and authorities have determined that the long-time administrative assistant diverted university funds into personal accounts between 2009 to 2019.
Forbes contributor Evan Gerstmann penned a column highlighting the similarities in legal arguments recently made by both the Trump Administration and Harvard, specifically citing the ongoing lawsuit between fraternities and sororities and the university over its sanctions policy against members of single-sex organizations.
The Cincinnati Inquirer, Dayton Daily News, and WCPO reported that, following an appeal, the Delta Tau Delta fraternity at Miami University will remain suspended for 15 years due to a hazing incident. This fraternity has been suspended twice since 2000 and was placed on probation in 2016 due to hazing allegations. This 15-year suspension will be the longest fraternity/sorority suspension in the school’s history.
