Workforce Structure Review 
Grand Council has directed the governance committee to assess whether Kappa Alpha Theta’s workforce structure effectively supports the Fraternity’s mission, governing responsibilities, and strategic priorities. The committee will gather input from volunteers and staff and present recommendations to Grand Council for consideration. Alumnae Leadership Program

Theta’s second annual Alumnae Leadership Program was hosted in Denver, CO, this past weekend. Ten alumnae from different chapters, cities, and generations participated in one day of volunteering with Denver CASA and one day of leadership and professional development. Special thanks to Alumnae Services Director Megan Brady, Collegiate Operations Manager Sinclair Ard, and Alumnae Committee Chair Jennah Jones.

Workforce Update
 At its September meeting, Grand Council appointed Jill Meadows Andersen, Zeta Theta/Cal Poly, and Karyn Uptain, Alpha/DePauw, as college district directors (CDDs) for Districts XV and XI, respectively, effective immediately.

Theta Foundation Grants Program Lunch & Learn

Theta Foundation’s virtual lunch and learn is in just one week on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 12:00 p.m. EDT. The webinar will cover program information, who is eligible to apply, and how to submit a strong application.
 The 2026-2027 Q2 application deadline is Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 3:00 p.m. EDT. Please contact Theta Foundation Programs Manager Victoria Wells with questions.
 

Epsilon Theta Chapter Closure

At its September meeting, Grand Council voted unanimously to close Epsilon Theta Chapter at Stetson University effective immediately. The chapter returned to campus this fall with only five remaining members; Fraternity staff and volunteers had significant ongoing concerns related to retention, experience, and operational management. All Epsilon Theta Chapter initiates remain members of Kappa Alpha Theta as long as the relationship is desired and honored.
