Advocacy efforts continue regarding the situation at the University of Maryland. The legal case is moving forward and late last week we filed our response to the University's Motion to Dismiss. You can read more here on our Action Against the University of Maryland web page.
Additionally, NPC Chief Executive Officer Dani Weatherford is meeting with University of Maryland Vice President of Student Affairs Patty Perillo in College Park on Thursday, July 18, to discuss the need for greater partnership between the university, the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life and our national organizations, as well as the need for supportive and positive messaging from the University about our Panhellenic community in advance of recruitment to complement the year-round marketing in which NPC is investing.

With the transition of Ana Schwab to the Foundation Board of Trustees, the college district director (CDD) role is vacant in College District III. Interested candidates should submit the Workforce Volunteer Interest Indicator, found under Forms in Theta Portal. Your ThetaConnect profile allows you to share information about yourself with your network. As time goes on, you can update your profile to reflect any changes that may come up in your life such as a name, job, title, change of company, or to indicate if you are searching for a new job. You can also change your preferences on being willing to offer help, seek help, offer mentoring, or seek mentoring. You have full control over the information shared and can update it at any time.
To view your profile, click on the small photograph on the top right-hand side of your feed. Click on the edit your profile button. Now you can edit your profile. When you are done editing your profile, press save.
