On Friday, March 16, the University of Maryland lifted the unconstitutional cease and desist order on all Panhellenic chapters that had been in effect since March 1. When the ban was lifted, the university levied allegations of hazing and inappropriate conduct against five men's organizations, but not a single Panhellenic chapter incurred any allegations. Kappa Alpha Theta engaged The Parallel Agency for an equity audit beginning in January 2023, which included an audit of selected documents, a culture assessment, and five virtual workshops with different audiences.
