Gamma Kappa/George Washington

The Gamma Kappa Chapter at The George Washington University was originally installed in 1946 and was on campus through 1975. Last weekend, Kappa Alpha Theta reinstalled the chapter, welcoming Gamma Kappa home. SHU is Theta’s fourth college chapter in Connecticut and joins 10 other chapters in District II. RAP Index Survey Update

Thanks to all who’ve participated in the survey! Kappa Alpha Theta participation currently leads that of all sororities and fraternities with 1,546 Theta alumnae completing the survey.

Workforce Contact Information

Whether it is to send a thank-you note, birthday card, or holiday greeting, we have received requests from workforce volunteers looking for the contact information of other workforce volunteers. Currently we cannot push the information from Theta’s database to Igloo. As a solution, we have created a short tutorial video that explains how to quickly update your Igloo profile so that the approximately 150 volunteers with Igloo access can reach you. At its meeting last week, Grand Council appointed Linda Nguyen Bollinger, Eta Lambda/Santa Clara, as college district director (CDD) in College District XIV. Linda will replace Jillian Kyde who will transition Linda into her new volunteer role.

Jennifer Hulett is retiring as budget district director (BDD) in College District IX. Mary Katherine Curvino, Zeta Omicron/Wake Forest, has been appointed, and Jennifer will help with the transition.
